OceanRoads GmbH is an owner-managed, internationally operating freight forwarding company with a strong focus on air and sea freight. To strengthen our operational team, we are looking for an Air Freight Specialist (m/f/d) – experience in sea freight is a welcome plus.
Your Responsibilities
- Independent operational handling of internationaln air freight shipments in import and export
- End-to-end coordination of the transport chain, from order processing to final invoicing
- Booking and coordination with airlines, handling agents, and service providers
- Preparation and review of transport and customs documentation
- Communication with customers, partners, and agents worldwide
- Close cooperation with internal departments
- Support in sea freight-related operations, where applicable
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk
- Several years of professional experience in air freight import/export operations
- Knowledge of sea freight is an advantage
- Confident handling of common forwarding and IT systems
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Strong team spirit and communication skills
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
